Office of Analysis and Research Services

The Office of Analysis and Research Services provides editorial, research, and statistical services to USITC’s investigations and research activities. The office comprises three functional areas with the following responsibilities:

Editorial Services – provides editorial services across Commission activities and is responsible for the implementation of plain writing principles for compliance with the Plain Writing Act.

Library Services Division – provides research services and support for Commission investigations by helping researchers find and acquire the information they need. This division also manages the Commission’s library of more than 50,000 publications including historical collections of Commission documents and reports, bound agency publications, GATT history, legacy foreign trade data, and US industry sector histories.

Statistical and Data Services – provides statistical analysis and development of statistical applications, survey and sampling expertise, mathematical programming and database design, statistical review/verification, table and graphics development, data entry, etc.
