Harmonized Tariff Information Web Page Adds New Resources for Users
The Office of Tariff Affairs and Trade Agreements is pleased to announce three new web pages that have been added to or updated on the Harmonized Tariff Information page.
- The Archive of prior editions and revisions to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule has been updated. The archive lists the date of publication for each revision and permits a user to download the HTS in PDF, CSV, JSON, or XLSX format. Alongside those familiar features, the Archive now lists, and links to, the legal instruments that modified each HTS revision.
- The new Modifications to the HTS page lists every instrument that has modified the HTS since 2018. Users can search and sort the list, filtering by legal authority, subject country, and instrument type. This information will continue to be found in the Preface to each HTS publication, but, via this page, it is more accessible, sortable, and searchable.
- The Committee for the Statistical Annotation of Tariff Schedules, also known as the 484(f) Committee, has a new webpage. This page provides a central location to access general information about the committee, as well as information on how to draft and submit a request. The page also includes links to a list of statistical reporting numbers under current consideration, a list of the most recently approved statistical reporting numbers, and an archive of previously approved 484(f) Committee changes.
