We would like to announce several improvements to the USITC’s public website. The overall design of the site has not changed much, but we have migrated the website to a new content management system (CMS) which will allow us to better maintain the website’s content and bring you new functionality that we hope will improve your user experience.
Please read on about some of the new features we have implemented:
Some Things We Hope You'll Love About the New www.usitc.gov
(Click the images below to try the new filters and the sorting being described):
- A more streamlined, simpler navigation
- A new, full-text search featuring near real-time indexing. We're also working on adding detailed metadata to usitc.gov content to improve search results.
- Federal Register Notices – to find a notice you can filter by year, investigation type, or alphabetically by the first relevant word of the title.
- AD/CVD Investigations – to find an investigation you can filter by Phase and/or Status and you can sort the columns by Title, Start Date or Phase.
- Publications – to find a USITC publication you can filter by year, alphabetically by the first letter of the publication title, or, for 332 publications, by topic
- Recent Petitions & Complaints – view the most recent petitions, complaints and other investigations requests to the Commission which are sortable by docket number, receive date, investigation type, commodity and investigation number.
- Industry & Economic Seminars – to see our schedule of upcoming and previously held seminars you can filter by year.
- Content Management: Perhaps the biggest change is one that you won't see immediately but that we expect to have a huge impact on your user experience. Behind the scenes, USITC staff will be able to post content to our website more efficiently using the new content management system, enabling us to deliver content to you more consistently and more quickly
We will continually be improving our web site, and we encourage you to provide feedback so we can continue to improve the web site to better meet your needs.
